One recipe, several jobs
Recipes need to work beyond a search result. Chefbook brings ingredient and macro filters, adjustable portions, a cooking mode with timers, weekly meal plans and shopping lists into the same app.
Search with intent
Semantic recipe search uses embeddings and pgvector alongside structured filters. A server-side quota keeps search usage bounded, with the quota increment handled atomically in the database.
Continuity between sessions
The Flutter app uses Riverpod and a feature-based structure. Supabase supports authentication and saved recipes across devices; the account flow is designed to keep guest data when a guest creates an account. Turkish and English are supported.
Current stage
The app is in development. A public release and demo are still to come.
